I understand and care for the people who buy our products.
Like an actor I submerge in the character of the consumer, as a designer I try to learn their language.
Where as my art is an expression of my personal desire to communicate aspects I feel are important, design is much different.
In design I assume the role of service to my patron, the public, blending the desires of the audience and director. I search within the common thread of humanity and begin a process of research and dialogue.
The only requirement I have is to make works which are to be treasured and give value to the consumer.
